What's Happening
What time does it start?
Food stalls open from 5.30pm and the Christmas carols program starts at 7:00pm.
What food will there be?
You can bring your own picnic food or buy from the food stalls. We will be serving all types of food including Asian, gelato/ice cream, coffee and tea. The St Ives Lion's Club will also be cooking up a storm with a sausage sizzle (proceeds will go to Lifeline).
Who is performing?
The pre-show entertainment from 6.30pm will feature the Golden Kangaroos stage band.
The main performance at 7.00pm, led by M.C. Stephen O’Doherty will include a children's section by the children's entertainer Sean W Smith and performances by Challis Singers, barbershop quartet The Amazing Greys soloist David Watson together with traditional and modern Christmas carols led by a combined churches choir and accompanied by the Golden Kangaroos concert band. There will also be a collection for the drought relief program co-ordinated by the Salvation Army.
Make sure to bring your singing voice! Don’t forget your rugs or low beach chairs to sit on. Don’t worry if you can’t get close to the stage, we will have state-of-the-art screens so that everyone can enjoy the evening’s entertainment.
What activities will there be, especially for the kids?
We will have a whole bunch of things to keep the kids entertained, including a playground, face painters and farm animals!
